Piston Hub O-Ring
This is the piston hub O-ring for Aplex reciprocating pumps. It is an elastomeric seal that closes the joint at the piston hub against leakage of fluid or pressure within the piston assembly. As a small elastomeric seal it is a routine wear item, replaced when servicing the piston. It fits Aplex SC-45L and SC-65L pumps.
What it is
A pump piston transmits force from the power end to the pumped fluid inside the cylinder liner. It carries the sealing element and reciprocates within the liner bore on every stroke.
